Child Sponsorship Program

Project Overview

The Child Sponsorship Program is a comprehensive initiative dedicated to supporting over 400 orphaned and disadvantaged children across Somaliland. By connecting sponsors with children in need, we ensure that every child has access to the fundamental rights of education, health, and a safe environment.

Objectives

• Ensure access to quality primary and secondary education for orphaned children.
• Provide routine healthcare checkups and medical support.
• Supply necessary clothing, school materials, and nutritional support.

Activities

Our program manages regular school fee distributions, conducts quarterly health and wellness camps, and provides winter clothing and back-to-school kits. We also facilitate regular progress updates between the children and their sponsors to build meaningful connections.

Impact & Results

This program has profoundly altered the trajectory of hundreds of young lives. Students in our sponsorship program consistently display higher attendance rates and improved academic performance. Furthermore, the health and nutritional status of sponsored children has shown marked improvement over the course of the program.
